Rickshaw Painting Exhibition in Chittagong Independent University

At 4PM on Tuesday, December 5, Chittagong Independent University was the colorful setting for an incredible occasion. The ‘Rickshaw Painting Exhibition’ began as a course of study on Bangladeshi Art and Culture and quickly expanded into an energy-packed celebration.

Dr. Shah Ahmed Ripon, honourable dean of the School of Liberal Arts and Social Science; Mr. Kazi Saiful Aspea, the Chair of the English Department ; and lively students graced the exhibition, which was organized by Dr. Abu Sufian Imon.

According to Dr. Imon, “Students who study the liberal arts are more resilient and have a wider range of viewpoints. Rickshaw art is a reflection of the history and dynamism of our society, inspiring critical thinking and exploration beyond the boundaries of knowledge.”

Students created portfolios on rickshaw paintings and 21 national dishes, showcasing Bangladeshi rural artisans and preserving the nation’s identity through national culture courses that foster creativity, respect for tradition, and a vibrant cultural future.
