Chittagong Independent University Hosts Successful CaseWhizz Championship

Chittagong, October 31, 2023 — The CIU INTRINSIC FINANCE CLUB of Chittagong Independent University (CIU) recently hosted the CaseWhizz : An Intra-CIU Case Championship, a remarkable event that brought together students from various departments in a spirited competition. The championship, which began on October 19th, featured 22 teams vying for top honors through three rounds of intense competition, culminating in a grand finale on October 30th (Monday) at the university’s auditorium.
In an exciting display of strategic thinking and problem-solving, Team “Factos” emerged as the champions of the CaseWhizz championship, while Team “Gladiators” secured the runner-up position.
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guest speakers Jamila Akhtar and Rafiqul Alam, with Muhammad Alamgir, the CEO of DELTA Immigration’s Chittagong branch, contributing to the event’s success. Dr. Manzur Quader, the Dean of the CIU Business School, and Dr. Mohammad Nayeem Abdullah, the Club Advisor and Head of the Finance Department, also shared their insights on the competition.
The esteemed panel of judges commended the event organizers for their dedication to enhancing students’ skills and knowledge through this competition. It was evident that students and attendees were delighted to be part of such an event that served as a unifying platform for students from all departments of the university.
The success of the event was made possible through the generous support of sponsors, including the Pac Asia Speakers’ Council and Delta Immigration, to whom the university extends its gratitude.
As the competition concluded, various participating groups received well-deserved crests in recognition of their contributions to the event.
The entire event was masterfully orchestrated under the leadership of Mr. Sadman Kayum, the President of the Intrinsic Finance Club, and his dedicated team. The CaseWhizz Championship at Chittagong Independent University proved to be an inspiring and educational experience for all involved.
